Former York City striker Richard Brodie has made Evo-Stik Premier Division side Rushall Olympic his fifth club since leaving Bootham Crescent in January.

The 30-year-old was released by National League strugglers Solihull Moors earlier this week having managed only half-a-dozen appearances since his arrival in September.

Prior to that Brodie struck three goals in ten games for Skelmersdale United – that following similarly brief spells at Boston United and Southport.

The Gateshead-born debutant celebrated his latest move by both winning and converting a late penalty in a 2-0 victory against Nantwich Town on Saturday.
