York City Academy youngsters were in action earlier today (Sunday) as they continued their Easter tour of Holland.
Teams representing their Under-12/13s, Under-14s and Under-15s took to the pitch while coming up against European opposition.
And Cityβs Under-12/13s actually went on to finish as runners-up at their particular age-level after only narrowly losing 6-5 on penalties to Dutch side Alphense Boys in the final.
The York youngsters originally departed Bootham Crescent in the early hours of Friday morning, and went on to take in a tour of PSVβs Philips Stadion in Eindhoven later that same evening.
Well done to our @YCFCAcademy mixed U12/U13βs who came runners up after being beat 6-5 on penalties.
