City holding pitch inspection

York City are holding a pitch inspection later this afternoon to determine whether their National League North home fixture against Southport can proceed.

That will take place at 4.00pm at Bootham Crescent.

Meanwhile, City’s EFL Youth Alliance clash with Chesterfield on Saturday has already been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at their Wigginton Road training ground.

A new date will be announced in due course.
