York City Ladies hit six goals without reply in their FA Cup tie at Kader FC on Sunday afternoon.
The free-scoring Minsterbelles had already previously struck sixteen times in six games on their way to the top of the North East Regional Premier table.
This time around Katie Duckworth grabbed a hat-trick fpr the visitors and Alicia Smith, Lauren Shuttleworth and Sara Renfrew were similarly on the mark. Player of the game was Nikki Brown.
Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Hull City and Tynedale Ladies both scored a dozen without reply against lower-ranked opposition and there were also wins for Peterlee RA, Whitley Bay and Brighouse Town. The draw for the next round is on Monday and with ties taking place in a fortnight.
And in a restricted league programme this weekend, Barnsley defeated Castleford White Rose 4-0, with Wakefield also victorious by a 5-1 scoreline at Hessle Town.
Meanwhile, City Ladies reserves’ game against Stokesley was postponed, but the hosts still top the table on goal-difference with their current 100% record.
