York City have re-signed their former midfielder Tyler Walton following a successful trial, with the deal subject to league approval.

The nineteen-year-old previously managed only a single substitute appearance for the Minstermen after originally moving to Bootham Crescent in May 2016.

He was subsequently released by manager Gary Mills twelve months later, until recently being invited back to the club on trial.

Walton has since featured in the reserves’ games against Port Vale and Mansfield Town.
