England are witnessing first-hand evidence regarding the outstanding capabilities of a goalkeeper particularly well-known to York City.
The Three Lions are currently preparing for forthcoming friendlies against the Netherlands and Italy.
And included within their squad for the first time is former City loan keeper Nick Pope, 25, who has already enjoyed such a terrific season for Premier League Burnley.
Pope made 24 appearances for the Minstermen during their League Two play-off campaign of 2013-14, in the process keeping a remarkable sixteen clean-sheets.
He’s continued in similar fashion with the high-riding Clarets this season, and thus far maintained a dozen shut-outs in thirty appearances in all competitions.
Good save, @Popey1992! 👐
