Former York City loan goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell was handed only his second start for Leeds United in their 3-0 home defeat to Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 21-year-old made four appearances for the Minstermen earlier in the season having arrived on a month’s loan in October.

However, he proceeded to concede a total of nine goals while facing Leamington, Salford City, Tamworth and Curzon Ashton – and was soon displaced by current York keeper Adam Bartlett.

Darlington-born Peacock-Farrell’s only other start for the West Yorkshire club came in a 1-1 home draw with Queens Park Rangers back in April 2016.

But goals this time from Romain Saiss, Willy Boly and substitute Benik Afobe now means it’s just one victory in six games for new Leeds boss Paul Heckingbottom.
