Former York City RTC discovery Jess Park is continuing to shine at Manchester City Women and could yet feature in the Champions League this season.

The sixteen-year-old prospect bagged another hat-trick for their Development Squad in a 4-0 weekend victory at Liverpool Ladies’ Under-23s.

That leaves them now eight points clear of the Merseysiders in the Women’s Super League Development League North.

Her remarkable progress at Manchester City has now incredibly seen the youngster added to their Champions League squad ahead of a forthcoming quarter-final tie.

The South Hunsley student earned a dream move to the reigning WSL1 winter champions in October – just three days after her sixteenth birthday.

She had already struck nine goals in five games while captaining York’s Regional Talent Club Under-16s at the start of the current season.

Meanwhile, Park was again recently named in England’s squad for their final round of qualifiers for the UEFA Women’s U-17 Championship.

The Young Lionesses have a trio of games against Slovenia, Switzerland and hosts Norway, with the eventual group winners making it through to the finals in May.
