Former winger joins rivals


Former York City winger Adam Smith has signed for National League North rivals Bradford Park Avenue.

The 33-year-old also includes stays with Chesterfield, Mansfield Town, Lincoln City, FC Halifax Town, Wrexham, Guiseley, Alfreton Town and most recently Gainsborough Trinity.

Smith made 51 appearances and scored four goals for the Minstermen having initially arrived on loan during his first spell at Gainsborough in November 2008.

He could make an immediate debut for Bradford against Nuneaton Town this weekend.
