Former York City goalkeeper Scott Loach is celebrating a double-award at National League club Hartlepool United.
The 29-year-old moved to the north-east side in June of last year and following his release by League Two outfit Notts County.
That was after making nine appearances on loan to the Minstermen during their ill-fated 2016-17 campaign, before later ruling out joining them permanently after their subsequent relegation into National League North.
He’s now been voted as both player of the year and players’ player of the year at Victoria Park following what proved a difficult first season at non-league level for Hartlepool.
Loach was twice named in the full England squad earlier in his career, and also includes spells at Ipswich Town and Watford.
