Former York City loan goalkeeper Artur Krysiak has been released by League Two club Yeovil Town.

The 28-year-old Polish-born shot-stopper made only a couple of appearances for the Minstermen after arriving from Birmingham City as cover for Michael Ingham in August 2008.

However, Krysiak suffered a dislocated finger in only his second game, a 1-0 home victory against Wrexham, and was replaced by Josh Mimms before promptly  returning to his parent club for treatment.

He’s since had loan spells with Swansea City, Motherwell and Burton Albion, ahead of completing well over a century of appearances for both Exeter City and Yeovil.

The Glovers have also released Nathan Smith, Ryan Dickson and Dan Alfei.
