Former York City striker Scott Fenwick achieved a remarkable goalscoring statistic for latest club Chelmsford City at the weekend.

The 28-year-old struck all four goals – including three penalties – as the National League South promotions hopefuls overcame hosts East Thurrock 4-2.

Just five days earlier, Fenwick had done precisely the same thing when converting a hat-trick of penalties during a 4-2 win against Whitehawk.

The ex-Hartlepool United marksman previously opened his account by grabbing the only goal against Essex rivals Concord Rangers from a spectacular overhead kick, and promptly followed that with their winner in a 2-1 success at Poole Town.

“I’m always confident in-front of goal,” he told Chelmsford’s official website.”I just need the chances at the right times and I never normally miss. It was nice to get a clean chance and I executed it by putting it in the net.”

Ironically, Fenwick’s best moment for York had also come from the penalty spot when scoring an extra-time goal against Lincoln City in the FA Trophy that took them to Wembley last season.
