Former York City striker Ryan Edmondson was once again in impressive goalscoring form at the weekend.
The sixteen-year-old claimed a hat-trick as Leeds United Under-18s defeated latest opponents Burnley 4-2 at Thorp Arch . That was sufficient to increase their lead at the top of the table.
Edmondson moved to Elland Road on scholarship terms in November having spent a couple of years developing with City’s Academy.
He had already made his senior debut for the Minstermen as a second-half substitute during their 2-1 victory against Brackley Town the previous month.
