Both York City Ladies’ senior teams have received home draws in the first round of the North East Regional Women’s Football League Cup.

The Minsterbelles’ first-team are to meet Harrogate Railway next month – with the winners of that tie travelling to either South Shields or Norton in the second round.

Meanwhile, their reserves host Redcar Town and should they also win would be at home again in the second round to either Hartlepool United or Cramlington United.

The remaining first round games in the Northern Section are Boldon v Tynedale; Guisborough v Durham Cestria; Lowick United v Blyth Town Lions and Wallsend v Prudhoe Town.
