On loan York City forward Alex Rodman has a couple more crucial games to extend his career at Bootham Crescent.

The 25-year-old has scored once in six appearances for the Minstermen since arriving from Aldershot Town in early November. He now has the prospect of successive home games with Burton Albion and Exeter City in which to sufficiently impress manager Gary Mills.
Rodman was actually already well-known to Mills after previously serving under his leadership at former club Tamworth. But the York chief conceded he was yet to make a final decision over the player this time around.
“I haven`t made my mind up on him yet,” Mills admitted to The Press. “We’ve got two big home games now and he will get another opportunity to try to earn himself a longer stay at the club. I know he’s enjoying it here so it’s down to him in the next couple of games to show what he`s capable of.”
