York City Ladies completed a league double with a 3-0 victory at bottom-of-the-table Wakefield Ladies in a hastily arranged North East Regional Premier League clash on Wednesday evening.
The Minsterbelles had already heavily defeated their West Yorkshire opponents 13-0 at the weekend, with Nikki Brown scoring four times alongside Anna Whitehead (2), Josie Hewson (2), Lindsay Jordan (2), Alice Turner, Helen Winterburn and Sara Renfrew.
And player-of-the-game Brown was once again on target for the visitors, while striker Lucy Lendhill also claimed a brace after coming off the bench.
