York City’s teenage midfielder Tom Platt is going out on loan again – this time to non-league neighbours FC Halifax Town.

The nineteen-year-old has only recently returned from a second spell at the Shaymen’s Blue Square Bet North rivals Harrogate Town, where he scored six goals in fifteen appearances this time around.

Since then Platt has started to make the bench for the Minstermen on a regular basis but is still to make his senior debut.

The deal taking the Pontefract-born youngster back across to West Yorkshire was set to be completed on Friday.
