York City have slipped a single place to fifth in the table despite weekend results largely going in their favour.

That follows Kidderminster Harriers moving above them on goal-difference after a remarkable 4-4 home draw with leaders Salford City, who actually scored four times in the final ten minutes.

Elsewhere Blyth Spartans were surprisingly defeated 1-0 at bottom club North Ferriby United, while of the clubs currently just outside the play-offs, Chorley, Bradford Park Avenue and forthcoming opponents Southport were all beaten.

But Stockport County surged back into the top-seven courtesy of their 4-0 romp against Leamington.

Former York loanee Rhys Turner was amongst County’s goalscorers, with another one-time City marksman, Reece Thompson, grabbing Boston United’s winner at Chorley.

Meanwhile, Harrogate Town’s 2-0 home triumph over Gainsborough Trinity now has them within a single-point of the leaders and with still a game in hand.

Weekend Results: AFC Telford 0-0 Darlington; Chorley 0-1 Boston; Curzon Ashton 1-0 Tamworth; FC United of Manchester 4-0 Bradford PA; Harrogate 2-0 Gainsborough; Kidderminster 4-4 Salford; North Ferriby 1-0 Blyth; Nuneaton P-P York City; Southport 1-3 Alfreton; Spennymoor P-P Brackley; Stockport 4-0 Leamington
