York City have signed Bristol Rovers striker Ryan Brunt on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old centre-forward arrives having made four appearances for the Conference Premier newcomers so for this season.
Birmingham-born Brunt has also had previous loan spells with Luton Town, Tranmere Rovers, Leyton Orient and Nantwich Town, having originally been with Stoke City’s academy following an earlier move from first club Bristol City.
He signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Rovers in January 2013 but missed part of last season due to knee surgery.
“Ryan has been to see me on a couple of occasions regarding the possibility of going out on loan and at our last meeting we agreed that it would be beneficial for him,” manager Darrell Clarke told Rovers’ official website. “I am unable to offer him regular football here at the moment, something he will get with York, and the move gives him the opportunity of playing at a good level and regaining his match sharpness.”
