Barnsley boss Danny Wilson is taking tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy meeting with York City very seriously.

The Tykes are taking part in the competition for the first time in nine
years and confirmed they will be putting out their strongest available starting eleven.
“We want a good run in the Cup,” Wilson told Barnsley’s official website. “When you’ve got an inexperienced side, all of these are great experiences for them and they all add up.
“We’ll go against York who are managed by an old friend of mine in Nigel Worthington. He’s done remarkably well up there and got a very good side together,” he continued. “They’ll want to continue in the Cup so we’ll put a team out that’s fitting to the game. We want to win it and we’ll put out the strongest team that we can.”
