On loan midfielder Alex Pattison’s time at York City would appear to have come to an end.
The 20-year-old prospect initially joined the club in December for a month having been a regular for Middlesbrough’s reserves this season.
Darlington-born Pattison had already been with the Teessiders for more than a decade while progressing through their Academy system.
He then returned to York for a second temporary spell in February, but unfortunately found his opportunities checked by a hamstring injury.
The Minstermen play their final league game this weekend at third-placed Brackley Town, with currently still a very outside chance of making the play-offs.
