It would appear that on loan Middlesbrough midfielder Alex Pattison will be a third player likely returning for York City’s weekend visit to Gainsborough Trinity.
The 20-year-old has been back with his parent club this week receiving treatment for an ankle injury after being withdrawn early during the recent 1-1 home draw with Chorley.
He’s since missed successive defeats to Harrogate Town and Nuneaton Town as City have slipped down the table.
However, the indications are that he has fully recovered and is set to return this weekend, hopefully alongside the similarly recovering Alex Kempster and Simon Heslop.
The Minstermen are still in seventh place in the table, but require as many points as possible over their remaining four games if they are to make the play-offs, particularly with rivals still having fixtures in hand.
Can’t wait to get back out there tomorrow. 3 points is a must. Last final push for them play offs⚽️????????
