York City striker George Purcell has joined Dartford on a month’s loan.

Purcell has managed only a solitary substitute appearance since arriving from Braintree Town in the summer and recently underwent ankle surgery.

Manager Gary Mills had been keen to loan him out in order to regain match fitness.

The 22-year-old previously had a spell with Ebbsfleet United.
