Results again mainly went in York City’s favour in those National League North fixtures held on Good Friday.

Promotion rivals Kidderminster Harriers and Spennymoor Town both suffered away defeats at Boston United and Gainsborough Trinity respectively.

However, Stockport County struck a late injury-time winner in a 3-2 triumph at Bradford Park Avenue despite allowing an earlier two-goal advantage to slip.

Elsewhere, leaders Salford City continued their surge towards the title by defeating neighbours Curzon Ashton 2-1.

They were also helped by their only remaining challengers Brackley Town and Harrogate Town sharing a scoreless draw in their six-pointer.

Friday’s Results: Alfreton 1-1 Nuneaton; Boston 3-2 Kidderminster; Brackley 0-0 Harrogate; Bradford PA 2-3 Stockport; Gainsborough 4-1 Spennymoor; Salford 2-1 Curzon Ashton; Tamworth 4-1 North Ferriby
