Former York City winger Sander Puri scored his first league goal for Waterford on Monday evening and promptly dedicated it to his late father.
The Blues narrowly defeated Bohemians 1-0 in the SSE Airtricty League to remain joint top of the table with Cork City after the opening five games of the season
Estonian international Puri, who made eleven appearances for the Minstermen during their 2013-14 campaign, struck the only goal within minutes of his half-time introduction.
The 29-year-old is one of sporting triplets alongside brother Eino and sister Kadri, and their father Raul sadly passed away prior to Christmas.
