Holders York City went out of the FA Trophy with a 2-1 defeat to Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough Stadium.

The Minstermen were always in deep trouble after disastrously conceding twice within a minute during the opening half.

First James Pearson reacted quickest to a rebound and slotted past ex-Harriers keeper Adam Bartlett.

And just seventeen seconds later Emmanuel Sonupe held off the challenge of David Ferguson to add a decisive second goal.

Substitute Amari Morgan-Smith at least produced a great strike against his former club to offer the visitors late hope with fourteen minutes remaining.

Recent arrival Daniel Rowe then glanced an upright in added time as York suffered a first loss in the competition in seven years.
