Adriano Moke is “really delighted” having signed an extension to his current York City deal.

The 28-year-old midfielder who scored his second goal of the campaign in the dramatic midweek 5-3 victory at AFC Telford United now remains at Bootham Crescent until the end of next season.

“I’m really happy and now want to try push on the team,” Moke told York’s official YouTube channel. “I’d like to thank the gaffer [Martin Gray] and the club for giving me a new deal.

“I just want to keep working hard for myself and the team and push on for promotion,” he continued. “That’s the new number one target.

“The gaffer’s got a big role because he’s done a lot for me. He’s come in and I’m developing as a player and I’m listening to him as well.

“I think the gaffer and the other staff as well, have got a big role to play with it. I’m really delighted and want to repay him and keep working hard.”
