Former York City winger Matty Blair felt his Fleetwood Town side should have won by a greater margin at Bootham Crescent.

Blair eventually proved the difference between the two top-seven teams when forcing in Antoni Sarcevic’s shot early in the second-half of their delayed play-off semi-final first-leg.
“It probably should have been more, I
had a good chance and Humey had a one-on-one, but you could argue the flipside that they had a few chances as well,” he told Fleetwood’s official website. “We’re all very happy at the moment. It’s nice to score in general whether it is a winner or whether just contributing in the game.
“I actually thought I wasn’t very good tonight, first half I had a few bad passes and bad crosses and in the second half I got better,” Blair continued. “I got my goal, but if I play bad and score every week you take that and we will go again.”
However, York won’t be too dismayed as they know they can perform much better and have already won at Fleetwood this season – one of six victories in their last eight games on their travels, none of which were lost.
