Nigel Worthington wasn’t too despondent despite the late equaliser for Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.

The Minstermen appeared set to take maximum points courtesy of Keith Lowe’s second-half header but substitute James Rowe equalised deep into injury-time.
“We are disappointed to have given a goal away so late in the game,” Worthington told SkySports. “But we would have probably taken a point before the game considering Tranmere have just come down from League One.
“When you are so close to all three points and you have to settle for one then it is frustrating but that’s life – you have to deal with it,” he added. “There are a lot of positives for us to take away from the game, but we need to learn to manage the game and see it through to the final whistle.
“We need to retain possession better but that is something we can work from. This game is all about learning and we will learn from the goal we gave away late on.”
Meanwhile, Worthington revealed striker Wes Fletcher should be back in action in the next ten days.
