Despite being without a game this weekend, York City Futsal’s attentions will doubtless be realigning elsewhere as a couple of their relegation rivals are involved in vital league action.

The Minstermen had been due to visit top-four hopefuls London City at the Olympic Park in Stratford. But that fixture has instead been moved to Sunday 22nd April.

However, the capital will still provide one of their main focuses of observation as recent victims, bottom-of-the-table London Genesis, are at title-chasing neighbours London Helvecia, who they’ve already twice heavily lost to this season.

Meanwhile, the Midlands also provides significant interest on Sunday as fellow strugglers Loughborough host FC Salisbury United having already beaten them 9-6 in the reverse fixture.

The two other games witness third-placed Birmingham venturing to Oxford City Lions and Manchester at home to Cambridge United.
