York City have fallen a further place to tenth in National League North following tonight’s action.

Blyth Spartans moved back above the Minstermen with a 2-1 home success against Curzon Ashton.

However, Spennymoor Town were at the same missing out as ten-man visitors AFC Telford United came from behind for a 2-1 victory.

Nevertheless, if Spennymoor overcome bottom-of-the-table North Ferriby United on Thursday, it will finally all be over for Martin Gray’s side.

Boston United could also have overtaken York this evening but their trip to Nuneaton Town was postponed due to floodlight failure.
