York City’s reserves are back in action when visiting Morecambe in Central League North on Tuesday afternoon (kick-off 1.00pm).

The Minstermen approach the contest having drawn 1-1 at home to Grimsby Town in their last run-out just under a fortnight ago.

Striker Flynn McNaughton earned them an early lead when taking advantage of a cross by fellow recent senior debutant Vinnie Steels. But Rumarn Burrell cancelled it out for the visitors prior to the interval.

That had followed successive 2-1 defeats to both Hartlepool United and Bradford City. The goals on those two occasions arrived from Clovis Kamdjo and Josh Law.

This latest fixture against Morecambe is actually being played at the home ground of Kendal Town FC, Parkside Road, Kendal, LA9 7BL.
