York City’s youth-team we held to a scoreless draw by Hartlepool United at the club’s Wiggington Road training ground in the EFL Youth Alliance North East on Thursday afternoon.
The Minstermites had earlier taken four points from their previous couple of games after Aston Harrison scored for the visitors in a weekend 1-1 draw at Bradford City.
Prior to that, City fought back to triumph 3-2 at latest opponents Hartlepool, courtesy of goals from Josh Rogerson, Harry Thompson and Aaron Haswell.
They are next scheduled to travel to Rotherham United at the weekend.
