Prolific striker Jon Parkin will be looking to score for the fifth successive game against Bradford Park Avenue this weekend.
The 36-year-old is currently averaging a goal-per-game this season, with already twenty-four to his credit having also grabbed sixteen in 28 appearances during the previous campaign.
His penalty winner at Darlington last time out followed a combined five goals in two meetings with North Ferriby United – those including his first ever hat-trick for the club – and an earlier brace during the 3-2 home defeat to Blyth Spartans.
For good measure Parkin has also seen a couple of efforts dubiously ruled out in the latest two games, although York are soon going to require goals from elsewhere as their leading marksman appears set to miss next month’s visit to Tamworth due to their artificial 3G playing surface.
