York City Ladies made it consecutive victories after recording an important league double at Castleford White Rose Women.
Fresh from a 5-2 triumph against the same opponents seven days ago, the Minsterbelles kept a first clean-sheet in the league this season while crucially emerging as 2-0 winners at the Glasshoughton Centre.
Megan Bramham and Ellie Regan were each on target in that earlier meeting – and both found the net again to open up a clear advantage for their side by the interval.

In-form Ellie Regan scored her fourth goal in five games for the Belles
Former Leeds forward Regan therefore increased her own impressive tally to four goals in her last five appearances, while helping the visitors move up a further couple of places to sixth in the North East Regional Premier League table.
However, the Belles next have forthcoming meetings with the current two leading sides in the division, Norton & Stockton Ancients and Durham Cestria.
But with midfielder Nikki Brown being named as player of the game on her return from injury, they should be in good heart after a successful week on the pitch brought them six extremely valuable points.
