Ben Wright struck a hat-trick, including one from the penalty spot, for Hayes & Yeading United, but they still went down to 4-3 defeat in a seven-goal thriller against Forest Green Rovers at Church Road. Wrexham allowed a two-goal lead to slip against Kidderminster Harriers at the Racecourse Ground before eventually having to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw. David Brown and Dean Keates both scored for the home side during the first six minutes, but a Nick Wright brace later rescued their opponents from defeat.

Tony Gray scored late on to earn promoted Southport a 1-0 success over Altrincham at Haig Avenue. The result leaves the Robins bottom of the table.
