AFC Wimbledon took over the leadership of the Blue Square Premier after Danny Kedwell struck a last-minute winner in a 3-2 victory at Eastbourne Borough. Kedwell and Tim Minshull earlier had the visitors two-goals ahead before Simon Weatherstone and Andy Atkin levelled.

Former leaders Luton Town went down to their first defeat of the season as Tamworth eventually ran out 3-1 winners at The Lamb Ground. Kyle Perry, Danny Thomas and Daniel Bradley scored for the home side with Tom Craddock replying.

Ambitious Crawley Town are currently in third after Craig McAllister netted twice and Sergio Torres was also on target in a 3-0 win at Hayes & Yeading United.

A Keigan Parker penalty was enough to give Mansfield Town a 1-0 home victory over Cambridge United, who had defender James Jennings sent-off at Field Mill.

Southport are also continuing to show well after Earl Davis headed their winner in a 1-0 success over fellow newcomers Fleetwood Town at Haig Avenue.

Darlington came out on top in the north-east derby at the Arena as Paul Terry and Joe Clarke earned them a 2-0 triumph against Gateshead.

Wrexham rescued a late point after Barrow’s Mike Pearson gave away a last-minute own-goal in a 1-1 draw at the Racecourse Ground. Jason Walker had earlier handed the visitors the lead.

Rushden & Diamonds hammered Grimsby Town 4-1 at Nene Park with Justin Miller, Ryan Charles, Rene Howe and Max Porter on the mark against an earlier Mark Hudson equaliser.

Craig Reid netted twice from the penalty spot as Newport County comfortably brushed aside visitors Kidderminster Harriers in a resounding 3-0 victory. Robbie Matthews had earlier opened their account.

Kettering Town claimed an impressive 3-0 triumph at Histon courtesy of Jean Paul Marna (pen), Serge Makofo and Marcus Kelly.

Lewis Hogg was sent-off but newcomers Bath City still held on for a well-earned point in a 0-0 draw at Forest Green Rovers.
