Matt Tubbs headed a last-minute winner as Crawley Town moved to the top of the table with a 2-1 home victory against Gateshead. Tubbs had earlier opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Jon Shaw quickly levelled.

Tamworth are now third after coming from behind to win 2-1 at Histon, whose Omer Riza began the scoring just before the break. But a handball and subsequent sending-off for Lee Wootton allowed Kyle Perry to equalise from the penalty spot before Scott Barrow volleyed a late winner.

Newport County won the family affair against visitors Mansfield Town as the two Holdsworth brothers came into direct opposition. Danny Rose scored the only goal in their 1-0 victory before Keigan Parker (Mansfield) and Marcus Bignot (Newport) were sent-off on a memorable day for Dean against his twin brother David.

Eastbourne Borough inflicted more misery on bottom club Altrincham with an easy 5-0 victory at Priory Lane. Ross Treleavan netted twice early on for the hosts before Richard Pacquette, Ben Austin and Simon Weatherstone added to their tally.

Bath City scored twice in injury-time to rescue a point against Darlington at Twerton Park. Chris Senior and Liam Hatch appeared to put the visitors firmly in charge, until Lewis Hogg and Hector Mackie both scored deep into added time to leave honours shared at 2-2.

Grimsby Town crashed 2-1 at home to Fleetwood Town after Gareth Seddon and Nathan Pond were both on target for the visitors. Alan Connell later replied for the Mariners.

Kettering Town and Wrexham contested a 1-1 draw at Rockingham Road, but the home side were reliant on a late Jean-Paul Marna penalty to cancel out Dean Keates’ opener just before the interval.

Southport and Rushden & Diamonds also shared the points in a 2-2 draw at Haig Avenue. Matty McGinn (pen) and Liam Blakeman found the net for the hosts with Aaron O’Connor and Matt Johnson replying.

Jason Walker claimed his eighth goal of the season and Simon Wiles added a couple more as Barrow comfortably defeated Forest Green Rovers 3-0 at Holker Street.

Kidderminster Harriers and Cambridge United both failed to break the deadlock in a 0-0 draw at Aggborough Stadium.
