Tamworth maintained their position in the top five, but had to come back from two goals down against Bath City at the Lamb Ground. Kaid Mohamed and Adam Connolly appeared to put the visitors in charge before Alex Rodman and Jay Smith replied to finally leave honours even at 2-2.

Jake Howells struck a late equaliser as Luton Town gained a 2-2 draw at Darlington. Claude Gnakpa had earlier given the Hatters a narrow advantage until Liam Hatch netted against his former club and Aaron Brown later added to it.

Eastbourne Borough came out on top by the odd-goal-in-seven at ten-man Forest Green Rovers, courtesy of an injury-time winner from Matt Crabbe. Jamie Taylor (2) and Richard Pacquette were also on target for the visitors against strikes from Yan Klukowski, James Norwood and Ian Hering (pen). Rovers also had Norwood sent-off just before the break in an eventual 4-3 defeat.

Altrincham achieved their first league win of the season with Shaun Densmore (pen) and Damian Reeves on target in a 2-0 victory over Barrow at Moss Lane.

Newport County continue to prosper with a 2-1 win at struggling Hayes & Yeading United. Michael Malcolm actually fired the hosts ahead before the free-scoring Craig Reid and Gary Warren turned it around after the break.

Fleetwood Town were held 1-1 at home by Kidderminster Harriers, with Ian Craney’s opener being cancelled out by the visitors’ Jack Byrne eleven minutes from time.

Cambridge United caused more misery for managerless Kettering Town with a 3-0 success at the Abbey Stadium. All three goals came in the final twenty minutes through Wayne Gray, Robbie Willmott and Danny Wright. The visitors also had Ashley Westwood sent-off in added time.

Wrexham are now seven games unbeaten after overcoming Southport 2-1 at the Racecourse Ground. Gareth Taylor and Jay Harris set them towards victory before Steve Daly headed a consolation for the visitors.

Rushden & Diamonds were eventually too good for Histon as Justin Miller and Aaron O’Connor found the net in their 2-0 success at Nene Park.

Gateshead and Grimsby Town remained scoreless at the International Stadium in the only game of the evening without a goal.
