Recent signing Leon Constantine is waiting to discover whether he will be handed his full debut as York City travel to Wrexham this weekend.
The experienced 32-year-old striker is pressing hard for inclusion after leaving the bench and guiding the Minstermen to only their second victory of the season against Rushden & Diamonds last week.
He also managed 75 minutes for the reserves in midweek, although the former Port Vale marksman hasn’t played a full game for four months.
“I would have no problems starting with Leon,” manager Martin Foyle confirmed to The Press. “He doesn`t carry any weight and has always been a player who can get on with things, whereas other players in his situation might not have been fit now.”
