Teenage York City midfield prospect Tom Platt has returned to Conference North side Harrogate Town to see out the remainder of his current loan deal.

The eighteen-year-old was set to be recalled by the Minstermen following the arrival of new manager Nigel Worthington earlier this week.

However, league rules state that a loaned player can’t return to his parent club until 28 days of the loan have expired, meaning Platt remains available for Harrogate up to the 21st March.

Similarly, on loan striker Jamie Reed must stay at Cambridge United until at least next Monday before he can be called back.
