York City were making final preparations as they chase back-to-back victories at Leamington this weekend.
Manager Martin Gray already enjoyed an opening win in his first game in charge against Brackley Town on Saturday.
He confirmed that Alex Whittle is back in an eighteen-man squad after recovering from a groin injury, although striker Michael Rankine remains sidelined.
Defender Whittle was involved in training this week under the watchful eyes of Gray, sporting director Dave Penney and new chief scout Harry Dunn.
