York City Futsal have an immediate opportunity of revenge when hosting Birmingham in the National Super League at the YorkSport Arena on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 4.30pm).
The Minstermen finally made a return to action following a lengthy seven-week absence with a 5-2 defeat to their third-placed opponents at the weekend.
Mohamed Elmaghrbi struck a hat-trick for the hosts while both England international Robbie Bettson, having returned from a recent injury, and Thomas Blackburn replied after the interval.
However, York were still once again missing a number of key players, with the likes of skipper Miguel De Vicente, Fabinho Almeida and Jamie Bettson significantly not included within their travelling squad.

Leading scorer Daniel Pedras hopes things are looking up this weekend
That marked a third straight defeat for the top-flight newcomers and followed their recent losses to rapidly improving London City and runaway leaders Reading Escolla.
It leaves them currently ninth in the table but still comfortably clear of the bottom two clubs, Tranmere Rovers and London Genesis, the latter who were City’s most recent victims when crushed 5-0 back in November.
