York City Ladies began their season in style with a resounding 7-0 victory against Cramlington United in the FA Cup first qualifying round.
Midfielder Becca Dawson helped herself to an opening day hat-trick and new striker Nat Eustance scored twice on her debut. Winger Jazz Whitwell and right-back Josie Hewson were similarly on target for the hosts. Dawson was unsurprisingly named player of the game.
