Former York City striker Adam Boyes has been recalled by Scunthorpe United from his loan spell at Kidderminster Harriers.

The 19-year-old made four appearances for Harriers, including two from the substitutes bench, without scoring after joining them at the beginning of this month in a deal that was supposed to keep him there for the rest of the season.

Earlier in the campaign he returned to Bootham Crescent for a short loan spell, and is still to make his debut at Glanford Park following his arrival there last summer.

Boyes made 36 senior appearances in total for the Minstermen, half of which were as a substitute, and scored three goals.
