Mansfield Town romped to the top of the table with another emphatic home victory – this time 4-0 against Eastbourne Borough. Chris Smith, Rob Duffy (pen) and a brace from substitute Luke Medley doing the damage.

Fleetwood Town are now third after overcoming Bath City 2-1 at the Highbury Stadium. Magno Vieira and Alan Wright were both on target with Kaid Mohamed (pen) netting a consolation.

Fellow newcomers Newport County continue to impress and are now in fifth place courtesy of Jamie Collins’ early goal in a 1-0 success at Cambridge United.

Ten-man Luton Town slip out of the play-offs after losing 1-0 at Gateshead. Jon Shaw headed in Martin Britain’s cross early on and the visitors later had Taiwo Atieno sent-off.

Grimsby Town twice led at Altrincham but eventually had to settle for a 2-2 draw at Moss Lane. Peter Bore and Alan Connell scored for the visitors against strikes from Chris Denham and in added time, Shaun Densmore.

Managerless Kettering Town gained a very welcome victory at Forest Green Rovers with Jean-Paul Marna (pen) and Iyseden Christie helping them to a 2-0 triumph.

Substitute John McReady netted a dramatic winner in added time as Darlington finally fought off the resistance of visitors Southport with a narrow 1-0 success at the Arena.

On loan Liam Enver-Marum and Bradley Pritchard were both on target as Hayes & Yeading United defeated ten-man Barrow 2-0 at Church Road. The Bluebirds’ misery was completed when defender Phil Bolland was sent-off late on.

Wrexham were always in charge against Histon at the Racecourse Ground, where Jamie Tolley, Dean Keates, Gareth Taylor and Nathaniel Knight-Percival against his former club, eased them towards a 4-0 triumph.

Kidderminster Harriers entertain AFC Wimbledon and Rushden & Diamonds welcome Crawley Town tomorrow.
