York City Ladies’ visit to North East Regional Premier League leaders Durham Cestria has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch.

The Minsterbelles would have been seeking revenge for a 2-0 home defeat to the same opponents back in September, although their hosts had already won six of their opening seven games.

City Ladies therefore return to action when entertaining RACA Tynedale at Haxby Road next Sunday afternoon (kick-off 2.00pm).

Meanwhile, second-placed Norton & Stockton Ancients’ home fixture against RACA Tynedale has also been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

In the only league game taking place, Hartlepool United moved into third with a 10-0 triumph over bottom-of-the-table Wakefield, including a hat-trick from Caitlin Bates.
