Former York City striker Ryan Bowman has been backed following a poor start at Torquay United.
“He’s a good signing and a great lad so there’s no problem” – Chris Hargreaves
The 22-year-old missed a penalty on his debut and also wasted another decent chance in a 3-1 defeat to Gary Mills’ Gateshead at the weekend.
“These things happen, I back him, he’s a good signing and a great lad so there’s no problem,” manager Chris Hargeaves told BBC Radio Devon. “He worked hard, he’s a good player.
“I’m delighted to have him and I said to him at the end of the game ‘you’ll have these games’,” he added.
