Former York City striker Scott Fenwick has joined National League South club Chelmsford City.

The 27-year-old made his debut in their weekend 1-1 draw at Hungerford Town having most recently been playing for Naxxar Lions in the Maltese Premier League.

He also had a brief spell under current York boss Martin Gray at Darlington since leaving Bootham Crescent at the end of last season.

Gateshead-born Fenwick managed only three goals in twenty-nine appearances for the Minstermen following his arrival from Hartlepool United in July 2016.

There were also earlier stays with Gretna, Newcastle Benfield, Durham City and Dunston UTS, in addition to a loan at Tranmere Rovers.
