Midfielder departs York

Midfielder Luke Woodland is the latest player to leave York City.

The 21-year-old Philippines international managed just three appearances having joined the club in late November, immediately making his debut in a 3-0 defeat at Bromley.

Woodland previously earned himself a two-year deal with Bolton Wanderers after progressing through their academy, then moving to Oldham Athletic in July 2016 following an earlier loan.

There were also spells with both Chester and Bradford Park Avenue last season for the one-time England youth international.
